about

It has been a difficult year for everyone, no matter the resident country. The coronavirus pandemic put the world on a global shutdown, and many people have had to face living in a quarantine. My hope with my this song is that people can listen to it, reflect on these troublesome times, and find a light in the darkness. While we are all troubled, we are all united in our troubles as human beings. As a songwriter, the best I can do is provide entertainment that, at best, has spiritual value. At the very least, this song can just be some bedroom folk cut for someone to stumble upon.

I want to say a special thank you to my good friend Emily for creating the art for this single! I am completely obsessed with this logo, and could not be happier with the outcome! Additionally, special thanks go to my Zach, Mike, and my dad for giving me some tips in the creation process of this song. I am so excited to finally have this piece published on the internet for the world to listen to, and I cannot wait for the musical ventures yet to come after "Trenton Quarantino".

If you're here, thank you so much for your support! <3

lyrics

Watching Quentin Tarantino movies
Captured places, captured faces
In this Trenton quarantine, oh
Forgetting places, forgetting faces

Broadway's a TV screen away
Broadway's left New Jersey astray
Give in to all the time you find
Use some to write us a new song

I wanna get out of the house
It doesn't feel like home without freedom
And I didn't think I would tire
Of the dependence of my youth

The lemonade is empty, refill and repeat
The lemonade is empty, refill and repeat
The lemonade is empty, refill and repeat
The lemonade is empty, refill and repeat

The old country is empty
The new country's on edge
The trees are so forgiving
Step out, breathe in, refill and repeat

I am gonna stay in the house
It is my home, I will prevail
And I cannot tire
When I am fighting for a life

Go to the store, buy what you want
Lemonade is my contribution
Great sadness breeds great art
Great sadness breeds great art
